Moulton shares a dedicated PCSO with neighbouring Davenham. Kat Stock will increasingly be seen around and about the village. She intends to make contact with most of the local groups over the coming months. Kat's powers are quite comprehensive and are listed below. She is employed by Cheshire Constabulary and works a shift pattern which includes evenings up to midnight as well as days. Together with the NPT (Neighbourhood Policing Team) police officers and other regular police officers this provides for a much greater coverage than we have previously experienced. Most importantly the tasks and priorities of the PCSO will be agreed by the Moulton and Davenham Community Safety Action Group (MADSAG) which works in cooperation with the Police. MADSAG is comprised of Parish and Borough Councillors and other Community representatives. Davenham and Moulton Parish Councils each make a financial contribution to the cost of employing the PCSO with the balance being made up by the Cheshire Police Authority.

Kat has bases in Moulton and Davenham Village. She has immediate access to all Police facilities and backup via the Police Radio system. You will see her moving around the area on foot or a bike. This means that she easily stop to talk to people as well as being mobile enough to respond to incidents quickly.
