The purpose of the Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) is to work with the public, community groups, police officers, special constables and partners in other local authorities and voluntary groups, to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. The PCSO is a high visibility, public reassurance patrolling role helping people to feel safe. |
