Text Box: Moulton Children’s Playing Field Trust

Members of the Parish Council are the Trustees of the Moulton Children’s Playing Field Trust. This year we have seen the completion of the multi games area and teen shelters. By the end of the Easter holidays the shelters will have been decorated by the youngsters with the help of a graffiti artist. Bids are in for grants to complete the refurbishment of the Junior and Toddler area and, hopefully, next year we will be able to report progress in these areas. How was the money spent? See below
Text Box: Grants to organisations

Your Council recognises the value of the work of community associations in village life and so there will be grants available for groups within the village again this year. If your organisation requires grant aid please contact the Parish Clerk (details on page 4) for an application form .

Polite Request:

Doggie bags are a great idea but they need to be disposed of in the correct places—bins.  At present there seems to be a proliferation of  full bags adorning trees, hedges and ditches.  Plastic bags, as we all know, do not degrade so they will remain in situ for a considerable length of time.  At present there are bins on the playing field and in the near future we expect two extra bins  one situated  at the far end of Main Road and the other at the junction of Niddries Lane and the lane  down to the tunnels.  The bin which was located in the Barlow Road playing area is to be re-sited outside the play area.
